Best Master Thesis Award 2017/2018 | Diana Moita

iMM Best Master Thesis 2017/2018

Diana Moita (Miguel Prudêncio Lab) is one of the awardees of iMM Best Master Thesis Awards. Recently, it was been discovered that Plasmodium parasite triggers an immune response in the liver wich is mainly mediated by interferon. Characterising the dynamics of th responses mediated by this cytokine, identifying potential effectors of intrahepatic control of parasites was the main objective of her thesis.
