Postdoctoral Association

The Postdoctoral Association (PDA) is a group of volunteer Postdocs that are committed to support the Postdoctoral community at iMM, which includes every PhD holder that is not a Group Leader and is performing research activities (i.e., excluding PhD holders working in services and facilities).

We actively contribute to the organization of seminars, thematic sessions, workshops, scientific and social gathering events.

The iMM Postdoctoral Training Program format and content are defined together by the overall Postdoctoral community, the iMM PDA and the iMM Training Hub team.

Therefore, the PDA aims to build community among the Institute's Postdocs and its mission includes:

  1. Developing activities centered around communication and networking;
  2. Organizing a series of professional enrichment activities and career development events;
  3. Contribute and aid in the integration of new Postdoc coming to Portugal (see the tab “Welcoming Info for new Postdocs” here).

If you would like to contact the PDA please email: imm-pda@medicina.ulisboa.pt

The bylaws of iMM PDA can be consulted here.
