What iMM seeks: At this moment iMM is looking for a light microscopy technician to join the Bioimaging Unit (https://imm.medicina.ulisboa.pt/facility/bioimaging), one of the largest imaging facilities in Portugal (offering 12 advanced imaging systems to more than 200 users, with more than 20,000 hours of usage time per year) coordinated by José Rino, PhD., within funding reference UIDB/50005/2020 supported by FCT / MCTES through national funds (PIDDAC). We are looking for a highly motivated, service oriented, dynamic and resourceful person to execute the following activities under the supervision of José Rino, PhD:

Provide training in light microscopy systems (from widefield to confocal, two-photon and light-sheet)
Technical assistance and scientific support in microscopy experiments
Support users in the first steps of image visualization, analysis and processing
Daily management/organization of the unit and orders
Support in the organization of microscopy courses and workshops
Maintenance, service and quality control of microscopy systems
