What iMM seeks: At this moment, iMM is looking for a Post-Doctoral Researcher to join the Telomeres, long noncoding RNAs and genome stability Lab coordinated by Claus M. Azzalin, under the research project ‘Regulatory RNA–protein interactions at telomeres in healthy cells and during malignant transformation’, funded by LaCaixa Foundation, to execute the following activities under the supervision of Claus M. Azzalin:
- Study the impact of telomere transcription on the composition of the telomeric nucleoprotein in human cultured cells;
- Generating telomeric mutant proteins that are insensitive to the regulation mediated by telomere transcription;
- Characterize the generated mutant proteins both in vitro and in cells;
- Characterize the effects exerted by the generated mutant proteins on telomere stability.
