The Industry Advisory Board (IAB) of iMM held its first meeting on November 22nd. The members of IAB are highly reputed experts in entrepreneurship, pharma & biotech industries, and investment. During the day, Daniela Couto (Biogeneration Ventures Fund), David Malta (Vesalius Biocapital), Isabel Ferreira (Versameb), Miguel Forte (Zelluna Immunotherapy) and Pascale Redig (Janssen) had the opportunity to listen to a number of iMM’s researchers who presented their work.
The IAB will provide assistance to the TTO team in the definition of a strategy and action plan to drive innovation at our institute, design of activities/events to stimulate industry partnering and entrepreneurship, and in portfolio evaluation (licensing and start-up opportunities).
