How to access our equipment?

  1. Our systems are available to GIMM researchers and external users. Check the equipment hourly fees.
  2. You need to use GIMM's booking system (Agendo) to book our equipment. If you are not registered in Agendo yet, please follow these instructions.
  3. Please fill in our Welcome Form to give us more information about your experiment and your imaging needs.
  4. We will schedule a meeting with you to discuss the next steps. Depending on your needs and usage frequency, you may receive training on a particular system for independent usage, or acquire data with our assistance (check details below).
  5. Don't forget to check our Policies.


How can we help you?

Consulting - The first step is to with meet us to discuss your imaging needs. Please fill in our Welcome Form first.

μCourse - To use our equipment you need to attend a 2h introductory session on the Principles of Microscopy. Book a session

Assisted Acquisition - For occasional usage we will assist you with data acquisition, no training required.

If you use a microscope regularly, we can train you to become fully independent:

Training is mandatory for independent use, even if you have already used the microscope elsewhere.

Independence - After training, you will be given regular user privileges.

Image Analysis - We can help you analyze your data more efficiently, check our image analysis and processing tools.

Publication - We can also help you writing materials and methods and preparing figures for a manuscript with microscopy data.

Training Workflow

  1. First training session: we book, your sample ready to image – no data acquired
  1. Second training session: we book, your sample ready to image
  1. Third(+) training session: you book, no longer than 1 week after first training
