    Thermocycler with centrifugation process, performing the detection of fluorescence emission in real time at high speed during the amplification cycles.

    The samples are centrifuged continually which means that they all meet the same conditions of amplification,without verifying a variation of the temperature dynamics influenced by the sample position.

    This process additionally requires that there be no need for prior centrifugation of the samples and automatically performs the removal of bubbles in the reaction mixture. The optical reading path is fixed therefore it's not necessarycalibration samples. The increases and decreases of temperature and thermal control during the amplification process are effected through a heating / cooling system of air. System specifications exhibit a temperature uniformity of ± 0.01°C and a resolution of 0.02°C. Rotor Gene is a versatile system which allows the use of allchemical amplification and detection in real time. Permits the use of lower concentrations of probe / dyedetection and short-term trials.

    The fluorescence of the sample is shown during the whole test, it is also possible to add or remove cycles and edit temperature profile during the same test

    The Microarray Scanner is a powerful tool for gene expression analysis which is designated to read microarrays. These biochips are used to detect and quantify nucleic acid (mRNA in the form of cDNA or genomic DNA) from biological samples, which are placed to hybridize to the DNA set in microscope slides (hybridization by complementary bases).

    The detection is possible because the samples are labeled with the fluorophores cyanine 3 (Cy3) or cyanine 5 (Cy5).

    The Microarray Scanner uses a circular carousel that holds up to 48 slides. When a scan run is initiated, the scanner rotates the carousel to the first scheduled slot number that contains a slide. After the carousel reaches the loading position, the Microarray Scanner transports the first slide and holder into the scanning position and scans the slide. The Microarray scanner measures the intensity of fluorescence labeled acid nucleic samples.

    The Microarray Scanner's ability to measure fluorescence from two dyes simultaneously, allows a quickly and automated differential expression of thousands of genes in a single experiment.
