FCT (Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia) opened a Call for PhD Scholarships in the context of COVID-19 research. The “Doctorates 4 COVID-19” Call will grant 50 PhD scholarships for research dedicated to the new coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 and COVID-19.
This Call is open from April 8th to May 14th 2020 (5pm, Lisbon time).

iMM has several ongoing research projects dedicated to the COVID-19 thematic. Information about the research projects and supervisors is available below.

iMM encourages all interested candidates to contact the potential PhD project supervisor, providing the following documents: a short CV (max. 2 pages) and motivation letter (statement explaining how the candidate´s prior academic path and future professional plans fit within the scope of the specific PhD Project; max. 1 page). Selection is made directly by each potential PhD supervisor. Subsequently, PhD candidates will benefit from the support of the iMM Training Hub throughout the FCT application process.
