The Flow Cytometry Unit provides a state of the art flow cytometry service to iMM researchers and visitors from other institutes. \\
We aim at training and supporting researchers in the adequate use of the instruments, on flow cytometry principles, experiment planning and sample preparation, as well as data analysis and interpretation. \\ \\
If you want to purify a cell population in your sample, we can help you by providing a cell sorting service using 3 high speed cell sorters (BD FACSAria Fusion, BD FACSAria III and BD FACSymphony S6 SE).\\ \\
We are happy to help you with your flow cytometry experiments. Talk to us! We will give you a guided tour through our facility, so that you can have the best experience with us!

===== How to use the service =====

All new users must contact the Flow Cytometry Unit to get proper training in using the systems and know the usage rules. Only after training the user will gain access to the Flow Cytometry room and to the online booking system. To get access to the cell sorters online booking, users must contact the Flow Cytometry staff.

Users are billed according to booked time and the actual time of usage. [[https://imm.agendo.science|Online booking]] is mandatory for each usage session. **Cancellations and no shows will be charged extra**, please check the [[usage_policy|usage rules]] for more details.\\

===== Service Hours =====

  * **9 a.m. - 12 a.m.** and **2 p.m. - 6 p.m.** for **Training, Assistance and Consultations**
  * **9 a.m. - 6 p.m.** for **Cell Sorting**
  * **24 hours, 7 days a week** for **Equipment Usage** by authorized, trained users
