She focused on the immunological characterization of bacterial vaccine platforms, investigating their mechanism of action across the full spectrum of human innate and adaptive immune responses, from antigen-presenting cell activation and T helper cell polarization to injection-site immune crosstalk. Through this work she gained expertise in development of in vitro models, high dimensional flow cytometry, multiplex cytokine profiling and high-content imaging. Mariateresa joined the GIMM Flow Cytometry Platform in July 2026, where she is currently Senior Flow Cytometry Technician. <br> |
