<b>José Rino</b> has a <i>Licenciatura</i> in Technological Physics Engineering (Instituto Superior Técnico) and a PhD in Biophysics (Faculdade de Ciências). José has managed the Bioimaging Unit since January 2008 and was appointed Head in July 2009, after postdoctoral research at the iMM (Carmo-Fonseca Lab) focused on applying quantitative microscopy methods to study mRNA biogenesis. <b>António Temudo</b> has a <i>Licenciatura</i> in Biology and a MSc in Evolutionary and Developmental Biology from Faculdade de Ciências, Universidade de Lisboa. António joined the Bioimaging Unit in June 2009, after studying the mechanics of somitogenesis in vertebrate embryos (mouse and zebrafish) using confocal live imaging for his MSc thesis. António has also studied Medicine at the Faculdade de Ciências Médicas, Universidade Nova de Lisboa.<br>

<b>Ana Nascimento</b> has a <i>Licenciatura</i> in Chemistry and a MSc in Biochemistry from Faculdade de Ciências, Universidade de Lisboa. Ana joined the Bioimaging Unit in December 2012 after working as a flow cytometry technician and a microscopy technician at Instituto Gulbenkian de Ciência. <br>

<b>Aida Lima</b> has an Undergraduate degree in Biology and a MSc in Genetic Molecular Biology and Biomedicine from Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologia, Universidade Nova de Lisboa. Aida joined the Bioimaging Unit in June 2019, after studying the dynamics of the actin cytoskeleton in endothelial tip cells using confocal microscopy, in Cláudio Franco's lab at the iMM. <br>

<b>Clara Barreto</b> has a MSc in Molecular Biology and Genetics from Faculdade de Ciências, Universidade de Lisboa. From 2015 to 2018, Clara studied the actin cytoskeleton dynamics in breast cancer cells using Point-Scanning Confocal Microscopy at Instituto Gulbenkian de Ciência. In 2019, at Instituto de Biologia Experimental e Tecnológica, Clara applied quantitative microscopy methods and automated image analysis in breast cancer-related projects. Clara joined the Bioimaging Unit in January 2020, where she supports users in image analysis approaches and develops software for user-specific needs. <img src="https://imm.medicina.ulisboa.pt/facility/flowcytometry/lib/exe/fetch.php?media=mail_icon.png" width=20>
