===== Introduction =====

Carl Zeiss MicroImaging and Instituto de Medicina Molecular are happy to invite you to the **Advanced Optical Sectioning Microscopy Course**, hosting the European premier of **Zeiss On Your Campus Tour 2009** featuring the next generation of 3D Live Cell Imaging systems. As a microscopy user, you will have an excellent opportunity to learn about advanced techniques as well as use high-end systems such as **confocal spinning disc**, **TIR** and **structured illumination**. Get three days of inspiration from top imaging experts and colleagues in a relaxed atmosphere. We are looking forward to show you the newest developments on optical sectioning microscopy. This meeting gives you a unique opportunity to get familiar with the new systems, know their comparative strengths and try them with your own samples. The course will take place in IMM Lisbon, from 20 - 22nd January 2009.

During the course you will have the chance to attend demos and try the following systems with your own samples: 
  *  **LSM 700** - Entry level confocal system
  *  **Laser TIRF 3** - Total Internal Reflection Fluorescence system
  *  **Cell Observer SD** - Spinning Disc system
  *  **ApoTome** - Structured Illumination system
