{{  :elyra_system_monitor-768x413.png?400|}} Super-resolution microscopy represents a group of recent techniques that can break the diffraction-limited resolution barrier (less than 200 nm). This workshop will introduce the principles and present the most recent advances of super-resolution microscopy, focusing on structured illumination microscopy (SIM). The workshop is designed for cell biologists with prior experience in light microscopy that are interested in using super-resolution for their research. It will consist of lectures focusing on the theoretical understanding of super-resolution microscopy and practical hands-on sessions in the microscopes where participants will learn how to correctly set-up and acquire super-resolved images. The workshop is **open and free of charge** to all CAML members and external participants. The hands-on component of the workshop is **limited to 20 participants** (selection based on workshop application letter).
