{{::assisted_acquisition.png?70|}} **Assisted Acquisition** - For occasional usage we will assist you with data acquisition, no training required. 

**If you use a microscope regularly, we can train you to become fully independent:**

{{::training.png?70|}} **Training** is __mandatory__ for independent use, even if you have already used the microscope elsewhere.

{{::independence.png?70|}} **Independence** - After training, you will be given regular user privileges.

{{::image_analysis.png?70|}} **Image Analysis** - We can help you analyze your data more efficiently, check our [[microscopytools|image analysis and processing tools]].

{{::publication.png?70|}} **Publication** - We can also help you writing materials and methods and preparing figures for a manuscript with microscopy data.

  - <fc #ffd966>First training session:</fc> we book, your sample ready to image – no data acquired

  - <fc #ffd966>Second training session:</fc> we book, your sample ready to image

  - <fc #ffd966>Third(+) training session:</fc> you book, no longer than 1 week after first training

  * After you are a fully independent user, you can request technical assistance when necessary (e.g. for troubleshooting, new settings, etc.)
  * If you do not use a microscope for more than 3 months, assistance is mandatory in your next session
  * If you do not use a microscope for more than 6 months, you lose access to the system and consulting is mandatory 

  * We are always available for consulting and advice on all things related to microscopy. Feel free to [[bioimaging@gimm.pt|contact us]] (☎ 47305 in Lisbon, 4533 in Oeiras), we will gladly help you with your microscopy needs and discuss your ideas.
